The Schwalbe One TLE with Addix Performance compound is Schwalbe's first medium price range tubeless road bike tire. It looks like tubeless road bike tires are here to stay and manufacturers are now gradually moving the tubeless technology into cheaper tires.

The Schwalbe One TLE is a cheaper version of the Schwalbe Pro One TLE (read our review). To keep costs down, Schwalbe moved this tire down to a 67 TPI casing, replaced the V-Guard anti-puncture strip with a RaceGuard anti-puncture strip, and replaced the Addix Multi compound with the Addix Performance compound.
Although it didn't blow us out of the water, the more expensive Pro One TLE performed quite well in our tests. We're wondering if the cheaper One TLE is somehow a hidden gem in Schwalbe's lineup and maybe be the price/performance leader in the tubeless category.

All numbers are for a single tire at a speed of 29 km/h / 18 mph and a load of 42.5 kg / 94 lbs. Performance of the Schwalbe One TLE in the rolling resistance tests is quite a bit worse when compared to the more expensive Pro One TLE.
At all air pressures, rolling resistance is close to 50% higher when compared to the Pro One TLE. Real measured weight is 40+ grams more. Puncture resistance is the same for both tires. The only benefit the One TLE has over the Pro One TLE is a slightly thicker tread and sidewalls.
If you can find these at a good price they might be good as a tubeless training tire. Personally, I'll pay the extra to save 10 to 20 watts of rolling resistance, even when just training.
